Mon - Jan. 28, '18 went on a hike today awful cold and stormy ate dinner and came back almost froze. have to go to a lecture tonight at 7:30 come back and go to bed. Tue - Jan. 29, '18 K.P. all day. cold and rainy as usual nothing of interest, eat work and go to bed. Wed - Jan. 30, '18 work in the machine shop all morning got a letter from Berniece and answered it also wrote to the folks. went to Tacoma to an entertainment at the... |
commercial club. had a very good time. bought a penant and sent it to Berniece. got back at 12:00 Thu - Jan. 31, '18 set up a field hospital and recieve patients eat dinner on the field get back about 1:30 P.M. then go on a forced hike. go to bed at 7:30. signed muster roll this evening. Fri - Feb. 1, '18 woke up and found about 3 inches of snow on the ground haul wood and coal all day. snow nearly all day, rain this evening wrote to Berniece. First snow this year. |
